His experiences in the real estate and development market allow him to assist franchisees from day one, until store opening, leaving no stone unturned in the path to their success. Sal comes with over 25 years‘ experience in Franchising, National Development and Multi Unit Restaurant Operations. In addition, Sal has overseen New Concept Development, Store Design, Construction Management and Real Estate Development. CEO of UFood Grill and Vice President of Construction for Red Mango, Inc.. During his tenure at Red Mango, Sal oversaw the development of 250+ traditional and non-traditional locations throughout the United States (including Puerto Rico) and Mexico.

Training Description:
At Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ, we understand that proper training is crucial for the success of every franchisee and their team. As such, we have developed an extensive training program that covers all aspects of running a successful restaurant or food truck. Prior to the opening date, our corporate team will provide in-house pre-training checklists to ensure that the franchisee and their restaurant are fully prepared for public service. This includes ensuring menu accuracy, checking that all equipment is operating at full capacity, and that all safety and sanitation requirements mandated by health department agencies are being followed.
Once the franchisee is ready to move forward, our corporate training team will arrive on site to conduct training for the team. This comprehensive training includes in-depth overviews of every station in the restaurant, proper safety and sanitation techniques, as well as cash handling and customer relationship building skills. We also provide separate training for the chosen management team to ensure they are well-equipped to handle the back-end operations and paperwork aspect of running the business.
As we approach the soft opening for friends and family and the grand opening for the public, our training team will continue to be present to ensure everything runs smoothly. This includes training on proper inventory and ordering techniques, and a final overview of all the training that was conducted throughout the week. Following the opening, we schedule a monthly call with the store’s leadership and franchisee to provide ongoing support and assistance as needed.
