Degree Wellness, the brainchild of tech guru Amanda Watts Lightcap and her husband Tom Lightcap, a hedge fund manager, was created to provide the premier self-care experience. Prior to Degree Wellness, Amanda launched two tech startups specializing in retail, technology, and consumer goods. Degree Wellness offers innovative wellness solutions that have created the premier boutique wellness experience using heat, cold, light, and advanced nutrients. Our mission is to help communities everyone live happier, healthier lives.

Amanda’s personal journey with Thyroid Cancer in early 2021 brought her closer to the benefits of Degree Wellness services. Using cryotherapy to manage brain fog and stress, sauna for improved sleep, red light therapy to reduce scarring, and IVs to boost energy, Amanda transformed from feeling her worst to living her best. This personal experience fuels the brand’s commitment to holistic wellness.

Degree Wellness is actively investing alongside franchisees, having recently opened its third location, with a fourth under development. We are committed to further developing markets like Jacksonville with corporate studios.

Our current services include cryotherapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, red light therapy, IV drips and IM injections, compression massage, oxygen, and non-invasive light facials.   • 3 Days of Business Training in Jacksonville, FL
  • Online Learning Management System (LMS) wil be available for franchisees and employees, including associates and RNs/EMTs 
  • 5 days of on-site technical training 
  • Comprehensive 3-4 week training checklist provided by franchisor along with a series of tests to become a certified Degree Wellness technician for all sales associates to complete.

Degree Wellness employes strategic marketing approaches to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition. 

  • 70% of the marketing budget is allocated to Google ads and 30% of Meta ads, focusing on the top 2-3 services to keep customer acquisition costs low.
  • Turnkey digital marketing support from franchisor, allowing franchisees to not have to worry about digital marketing, or for hands-on owners, they can supplement corporate’s efforts with their own.
  • Vast majority of marketing budget is allocated to digital ads, focusing on top 2-3 services to keep customer acquisition costs low.
