Concept Description

We are in the business of taking care of people.

We understand the importance of a comfortable, well-functioning climate-controlled home, and superior customer relations. Heating + Air Paramedics provides big city service with a small-town family feel.

Where there’s the weather, there’s Heating + Air Paramedics. We’re rescuing customers from hot, stuffy, or frigid cold homes and apartments every time our beautiful vans pull up, and our friendly technicians—called paramedics—diagnose the problem. In this in-demand industry, your franchise can enjoy new and repeat customers alike.

Heating + Air Paramedics is a family-run franchise that’s transforming the heating and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. From just one truck and a tiny office to fleets of vans and technicians ready for dispatch, our brand has continued to grow year after year. Now, we’re seeking new franchise owners to help us expand our reach across the United States.

As a franchise owner with Heating + Air Paramedics, you will have the privilege of serving your own local customers when they need you most, while growing your business in a smart, scalable, fully-supported way.

Whether you’re a ‘seasoned’ service professional or a new entrepreneur with no HVAC experience, Heating + Air Paramedics can help you start your business, hire great technicians, and build a thriving business – helping your neighbors and your community while achieving your family’s dreams!

History:

Founder Ryan Carpenter was raised in his family’s HVAC and plumbing business in a small town in Michigan. His parents provided wonderful ‘small-town’ service to their community, but they were never able to scale and make the money they needed to achieve their dreams. Ryan later moved to Indianapolis, where he worked as a supplier for the HVAC, plumbing and electrical industries.

He decided to open his own HVAC and plumbing business, where he would offer the ‘small town service’ he was raised with and completely believed in, while leveraging the strong relationships he had built in a larger market to get vendor partnerships, better pricing and higher margins. He didn’t believe in trying to make folks hired for their technical skills become salespeople, so he paid his team better than market wages and encouraged ethical, efficient customer-focused service and product advice.

The Plumbing & Heating Paramedics brand was launched with a used van (with a beautiful new Paramedics wrap!) and his father as a Paramedic/technician in mid-2011, and by 2015 had become a thriving and well-known brand in Greater Indianapolis. Ryan and his team continued to build the business throughout the region, and in 2021 decided to join the Threshold Brands Family to launch the Paramedics Brands as a franchise with more experience, better support and greater franchisee benefits than he could provide alone.

Within 6 months they had 6 franchise locations, with continuing strong growth expected!
