Passive Ownership: Semi- passive after 1 year
Passive Ownership means the owner is working 15 hours or less per week in the business.
Passive Ownership Explain: Hot Doogy allows franchisees to transition into a semi-passive or passive ownership role, but only after the business is properly established and the owner has completed the initial operational phase. Franchisees are expected to be actively involved during the first year to learn the systems, build the team, and fully understand the business model. Once the store is running smoothly with trained management in place, owners may shift into an oversight role focused on financial performance, staffing leadership, and growth. Passive ownership is achievable when: • The franchisee completes required training • A qualified manager and team are in place • Operational standards and brand systems are consistently followed • The owner actively reviews performance through the POS and financial reporting tools With these conditions met, owners can manage the business remotely and focus on supervision rather than daily operations.

Training Description:
Training Description
Hot Doogy provides a comprehensive training program designed to prepare franchisees for both daily operations and long-term success. Training begins with online modules and in-person instruction covering all operational areas, including food preparation, customer service, POS systems, inventory control, scheduling, staffing, payroll oversight, and financial management.
Franchisees also receive hands-on, onsite training at one of our existing stores to practice real-time procedures and learn directly from experienced operators. Prior to opening, Hot Doogy sends a trained support team to the franchisee’s location to assist with the grand opening and the first several days of operation. This ensures that both the franchisee and their staff are confident, consistent, and performing at the standards of the brand from day one.
Support continues well beyond opening. Franchisees participate in biweekly or monthly meetings where they receive guidance on operations, marketing, financial performance, staffing, and goal tracking. These check-ins help reinforce training, improve profitability, and provide accountability.
As one of the first franchisees in the system, owners benefit from direct access to the founders and a high level of personal guidance to help ensure their success. Ongoing coaching, operational support, and financial oversight are all built into the program so franchisees are never left on their own.
Operational and Marketing Tools:
Hot Doogy provides franchisees with a complete set of operational and marketing tools designed to simplify management, drive customer traffic, and ensure brand consistency across all locations.
All social media content and digital marketing are handled by Hot Doogy’s in-house marketing team, including campaign creation, posting, engagement, and promotions. Franchisees also receive support for Google Ads, Meta Ads, email campaigns, text message marketing, local promotions, and online ordering visibility.
Each franchise location benefits from the brand’s established rewards program and customer database, with automated promotions, retention campaigns, and loyalty incentives built into the system.
Operationally, franchisees are equipped with a full POS platform that includes sales tracking, payroll integration, labor management, inventory control, and scheduling. A vendor network with established suppliers is already in place, and inventory ordering is streamlined through the built-in backend system.
For new locations, Hot Doogy provides grand opening marketing support, local store launch campaigns, media outreach, and branded materials to generate immediate visibility and traffic. Seasonal promotions and ongoing marketing initiatives are also developed and distributed by the corporate team to keep each location active and relevant in its market.
All customer leads generated through the franchisor’s website, social media, and digital platforms are routed directly to the appropriate franchisee within their territory. Franchisees do not need to create their own marketing—everything is structured, produced, and managed by the corporate team to ensure quality and effectiveness.
