Concept Description
Medi-Weightloss is a clinically-backed, evidence-based weight loss program with over 20 years of success and 10 million pounds lost to prove it. Our 3-phase, comprehensive approach is tailored to each patient’s needs, ensuring sustainable, long-term results.
We test patients’ full body composition, resting metabolic rate, order blood panels, and review urinalyses to personalize the program to the individual. The program is based on the fundamentals of health/wellness, which include diet/nutrition and behavior modification/movement.
Our 3-phase program engages patients for 14 weeks on average, with an average spend of over $2,000-$3,000 on

Medi-Weightloss has been changing lives for over a decade. We are a nationally recognized non-surgical medical weight management franchise founded by Edward Kaloust in 2005, and developed by physicians and other health professionals. Our mission is simple: fight the obesity epidemic in America. We use evidence-based practices supported by clinical research to help individuals lose weight and keep it off. Because of our multifaceted approach and comprehensive plans, patients turn to us when it comes to transforming their lives.
In 2022 Audax Private Equity acquired Medi-Weightloss. Through its disciplined Buy and Build approach, Audax seeks to
help platform companies execute add-on acquisitions that fuel revenue growth, optimize operations, and significantly
increase equity value.
