ABOUT MOBILITY CITY
Mobility City is the only national brand dedicated exclusively to mobility equipment repair, rental, sanitization, and sales. From wheelchairs and scooters to hospital beds and lift chairs, we keep people moving with fast, reliable, and affordable service.
Our mobile workshop-on-wheels delivers on-site repairs and our “white glove” program ensures new products are delivered, set up, and explained right in the customer’s home. Seniors, veterans, and caregivers count on us to extend the life of their equipment and maintain independence.
With 110+ national contracts and 10,000 Americans turning 65 every day, demand is exploding. Mobility City franchise owners step into a proven system with immediate work orders, advanced training, and the support of a leadership team with 40 years of industry experience.
This is more than a business. It’s a chance to impact lives daily while building a scalable, profitable company in a wide-open market with no national competition.
Testimonials
“Having owned two other franchises before Mobility City, I can honestly say the difference here is the leadership. Vinny and Diane built this system around operator success. From national accounts that feed us work on day one, to support committees that help us manage costs and grow sales, the model sets you up to win. I’m proud to be part of it.”

Mobility City of Springfield, MO & Rogers, AR
“My wife’s knee injury introduced me to mobility problems. After some research I realized that there were thousands of people in our community who needed help solving their mobility challenges. My wife Tiffany, and my business partner Zachary Lawson & his wife Traci decided to pivot into the Mobility space and discovered Mobility City, the fastest growing franchise in the mobility products space. We brought it to Springfield to serve our greater community of Southwest Missouri. It’s an honor to be able to serve Southwest Missouri’s Mobility Needs.”

History:
Mobility City’s story began with a real-life crisis that revealed a gap in the healthcare market. Years ago, Diane’s late husband relied daily on his mobility scooter. One day, his scooter broke down on the way home from dialysis in the middle of a Florida downpour. After calls to manufacturers and local dealers went unanswered, it seemed a costly replacement was the only option.
That’s when she discovered Vinny Baratta and Mobility City. Not only was the scooter repaired, but it was done right at her home. The experience showed firsthand how vital and rare reliable repair services were for mobility equipment users.
Following her husband’s passing, Diane reconnected with Mobility City and began discussing the bigger vision with Vinny. With his decades of experience in the home medical supply industry, they developed a scalable business model designed to restore independence and dignity to millions of people who rely on mobility equipment every day.
Within the first 19 months, Mobility City awarded 18 franchises in 14 states. Today, the brand has become the only national system focused exclusively on mobility equipment repair, rentals, sales, and sanitization. Franchisees serve seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities — supported by national contracts, manufacturer agreements, and a mission-driven leadership team.
