From the beginning, Owl Be There was a calling and a rare service opportunity near and dear to our hearts. The founders, David Greenwood,MBA and Laura Greewood,MBA,CFE, had experienced firsthand the struggle to find expert advice and appropriate care for senior family members. That difficult journey is common for so many families with aging loved ones. Too often, wise guidance from a caring local advisor is the exception, not the rule. They imagined a better experience.
David and Laura began providing services to seniors in our local market in 2013. As with all new ventures, the learning curve was steep. But they had a passion for helping seniors and a combined thirty-five years of business experience. Before long, they were adding experts to our team to handle their growing client base. By 2017 Owl Be There was firmly established as a valuable and trusted partner throughout the DC/Maryland/Virginia senior care community.
They began to set their sights on expanding the mission – to help even more seniors. They knew that the foundational values and processes that made Owl Be There successful in one market could be repeated in markets across the United States. With a desire to bring value to both seniors and future franchisees, they launched Owl Be There Franchising in 2020!

We want each Owl Be There franchise owner to become the senior living and care expert their community depends on. Solid training and ongoing support are key to achieving that goal.
The Owl Be There new franchisee training program consists of:
35 hours of formal instruction (via our LMS platform and video conference)
37-40 hours of personal on-the-job coaching to give you confidence in your abilities as the local senior care expert in your market
New franchise owners will be trained by the best – the Owl Be There executive team!
The team has deep senior care industry knowledge and decades of expertise in:
