Concept Description
“Preservan hits that high money-high mission sweet spot” – Casey Long, Preservan Charleston Owner
Preservan is a specialized wood maintenance and repair franchise focused on wood rot repair, termite repair, window and door repair, exterior wood restoration, and preventative maintenance.
Customers often do not need expensive replacement. Preservan repairs and restores damaged wood windows, doors, siding, and more at up to 90% less than replacement, often in 24 hours.
The business is built around three strong revenue lanes:
- Residential repair for homes built before 2005
- Luxury property maintenance for high-value homes
- Commercial preservation for buildings built before 1940, including churches, hotels, museums, universities, and landmark properties
This is a $9 billion wood restoration category with low direct competition, exclusive epoxy repair products, Historic Preservation Commission approval, and a service customers already need.
Owners do not need construction experience. They lead through repair consulting, project management, customer education, hiring, and local relationship building.
The model is designed to move quickly: a lower investment range, average opening time of 90 days, call center support, digital marketing, management software, hiring and training support, and commercial bid consulting.
For the right owner, Preservan provides a diversified mix of residential and commercial projects.
High demand. Fast revenue. Real impact.
