Shine’s initial training program is designed to thoroughly prepare franchise owners for a successful launch and sustained growth. The training spans over seven weeks, providing a step-by-step process that equips you with the knowledge and resources necessary to build a thriving Shine franchise.
During the first part of the training, you’ll focus on setting up the foundational elements of your business. This includes establishing your business entity, developing your business plan, and laying the groundwork for your marketing strategies. You’ll also begin virtual technical training through Shine University, Shine’s comprehensive online learning platform, which covers everything from operations to marketing.
As you progress, you will set up essential technologies, including the customer relationship management (CRM) system and revenue processing tools, and meet with key vendors to build important relationships. Additionally, you’ll obtain all necessary insurance, start the build-out of your new location, and ensure it’s ready for launch.
The training culminates in a one-week, onsite program at Shine’s home office in Michigan, where you’ll receive hands-on experience and guidance from Shine’s expert team. This immersive training will give you the practical skills and knowledge needed to run your Shine franchise smoothly.
Immediately after opening, Shine provides robust onboarding support. Your onboarding training coach will schedule a series of weekly calls to guide you through the early stages of operation. Over the next six weeks, you’ll have 2-3 support calls each week to ensure your location is running efficiently and that you have full access to the tools and resources Shine offers. This personalized support ensures that you’re never alone, as Shine works closely with you to help your franchise succeed from day one.
Shine University is an essential resource for Shine franchise owners, offering a dynamic and evolving Learning Management System (LMS) designed to help franchise owners succeed. This user-friendly platform houses all training modules and business development tools.
By consistently using Shine University, owners can save time, money, and resources, while ensuring that their team stays on top of best practices. Whether they’re onboarding new crew members, refining their leadership skills, or enhancing office management, Shine University provides the knowledge and tools necessary to build a strong, efficient operation.

- Comprehensive training modules for all roles: Technicians, Crew Leaders, Business Development Managers, and Owners.
- Safety resources, SDS sheets, and chemical cheat sheets for field use.

The robust digital marketing platform helps optimize your online presence, attracting more customers and driving growth.
In addition, Shine provides online review and customer survey platforms to gather valuable customer feedback and maintain high satisfaction levels. Franchise owners also have access to online training and a digital document library, ensuring that they have all the resources they need to succeed.
Beyond digital efforts, Shine’s support team implements promotional marketing, public relations, and advertising strategies. These resources include hiring agencies and in-house personnel to assist with brand development, average unit volume growth, and media promotions.
