History:

Originally developed as Smart Claims® Public Adjusting, the company focused on innovation in consumer advocacy and was led by technology entrepreneur and public adjuster, Theodore (Ted) Patestos, along with Stewart Severnio, a fellow Public Adjuster with a background in training and business development.

In 2022, as the reputation of Smart Claims increased it attracted other public adjusting firms that entered into a license agreement. These firms were led by Brendan Steinbrecher, a former military police officer and Public Adjuster.

In 2023, the team began to cultivate the vision of an effective, affordable franchise that nationally defines the public adjusting industry through innovative excellence. This franchise would allow the team to share their expertise with the goal of increasing consumer value and maximum settlements.   

This vision became Tiger Adjusters® — a system of claim sales and marketing methodologies, and investment in various software platforms to reduce claim friction in order to enhance the public adjusting industry and increase value to consumers and fellow adjusters.

In 2024, the franchise was launched. Tiger Adjusters® is the only Public Adjuster Franchise in the nation and we offer a 360 degree business tool set for Public Adjusters throughout the United States who seek technology, training, marketing and organizational support to advance their firms growth by effectively servicing property policyholders.

Training Description:

Certified Roar Interactive Training Program: Our team has developed the first of its kind interactive, in-depth Public Adjuster certified online training program that ties to hands-on mentorship. We provide step-by-step guidance through the claims process, property inspections, creating loss estimates, negotiating with insurance carriers, and communicating to clients. All of these service activities are laid on a foundation of industry ethics, sales and branding. All Franchisees go through 30.5 hours of training over 15 courses.

Operational and Marketing Tools:

• Marketing Support: We don’t leave franchisees to fend for themselves when it comes to marketing. With expert advice on how to allocate local marketing budgets strategically, Tiger Adjusters ensures that each franchisee can reach their quarterly local target market goals so they reach profit quicker. We provide target market personas for the franchisee’s local market, quarterly strategic local marketing support and training, and a creative library featuring over a thousand branded assets that include illustrations, infographics, videos, animations, presentations, and articles. 
• Lead Generation Support: Franchisees at Tiger Adjusters are empowered to build scalable businesses. Upon the launch of a franchise, we provide support to develop a local general contractor referral network. Franchises also have access to a nationwide lead generation database of homeowner properties impacted by severe weather and the owner’s contact info.
