History:
Founders Jen and Laura met when Jen moved to Arizona from Washington State looking for wine tasting and quickly realized there were no wine tasting locations in our neighborhood. They were both senior level corporate level executives who left that world to open Turquoise Wine Bar. It has become the neighborhood wine bar creating a social hub for people to come and build a true connection with others while enjoying a glass of wine.
We are NOT a restaurant and we have no TV’s. Our food is amazing and Dan Hernandez has led the charge of curating great menu items that all pair well with wine but he is proud that we will never have a steak or a hamburger on the menu. Those items make things very complicated – so we operate a “cold kitchen” meaning we have no fryers or oven hoods and no raw meat. We offer fresh foods like salads, flatbreads, pizza and charcuterie.
Our wine is all small lot vineyards that have a great story to tell! We meet with wine makers and vineyard owners regularly and love sharing their stories with our guests. We also host events and the wine makers will host training events with our guests and even sign bottles for the evening!
We offer a wine club that has great benefits for our guests. They will receive discounts, free tasting events and the biggest perk is being invited to travel to wine regions with the founders! In 2024 they hosted a group to France and they just returned from the 2025 trip to a villa in the Burgundy Region of Italy.
Building community and loving wine is the perfect job!
